This Fund has been established to assist with direct payments to publishers to facilitate publications such as monographs, edited collections of papers and edited conference proceedings, specifically on Canadian topics. Applicants must be either established Canadian Studies groups in Britain (these include Centres,Programs, Consortia, BACS Specialist Groups, and BACS Council for official BACS Publications) or individuals permanently resident in the UK with a track record of at least two years’ recognised work in Canadian Studies in Britain. All publications will have been peer-reviewed. The maximum sum available for any one publication will be £1,000, although it is anticipated that the average grant will be in the region of £500.
Applications may be made to the Foundation by any one of the following deadlines: 31st October;31st January or 31st May.
